Larimar
is also referred to as the Atlantis Stone. It is only found in the
Dominican Republic and it extremely rare. First making news in 1974,
this gemstone has been known to the locals since the time of their
ancestors. A light blue stone that has markings about it resembling
that of a reflection off the shallow part of the warm Caribbean ocean.
